The need for and placement of vapor retarders should be determined by the building designer. Secure insulation to structure with corrosion-resistant fasteners of appropriate type and length as specified by the finish system manufacturer. Locate expansion joints per finish system manufacturer recommendations. Insulation edges exposed to dissimilar materials or climatic conditions must be edge-wrapped or enclosed in trim channel.
